The All-American 910 Pressure Canner is the perfect entry point into safe, reliable home canning—especially if you prefer smaller batches or have limited storage space. With a 10.5-quart capacity that holds up to 7 pint jars or 4 quart jars, it’s a great fit for apartment kitchens, couples, and first-time canners who want true pressure-canner performance in a compact, easy-to-handle size. Like every All American canner, the 910 is precision cast from heavy-duty aluminum and uses All American’s signature metal-to-metal seal, so there are no gaskets to replace—ever. Whether you’re preserving vegetables, stocks, soups, or small runs of meats, you’ll get consistent pressure and dependable results batch after batch. USDA guidance recommends pressure canning for low-acid foods such as meat, fish, poultry, and vegetables.

Please Note: The All American 910 (10 Quart) is not recommended for canning smoked fish, because this canner’s size does not allow for the adequate heating and cooling times required for safe processing.

Stove Compatibility

Gas and electric coil stoves work with all models.

Glass-top stoves: The 910, 915, 921, and 925 are suitable for glass-top stoves. The 930 and 941 are too heavy and too wide for glass-top stoves.

Weight: Typical flat-top stove weight limits are 50-60 pounds. The weights listed are empty. Add 20–30 lbs for water and jars in the 910–925, and 40–50 lbs in the 930 and 941.

Burner Fit: The canner diameter may extend beyond your burner and transfer heat to nearby surfaces — ensure adequate clearance from countertops.

Height clearance: If you're buying a 925, 930, or 941, measure from your burner up to your range hood or microwave before ordering — taller canners can be a tight fit.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Model 910 is perfect for individuals, couples, or anyone doing small batch canning. It holds 7 pint jars or 4 quart jars, making it ideal for preserving small harvests, making gifts, or testing new recipes. If you need larger capacity for bigger batches or large families, consider the 915, 921, or 925 models.

Yes, the Model 910 works on glass/ceramic cooktops.

Correct! All American Canners use a precision-machined metal-to-metal seal. There are NO rubber gaskets to wear out, replace, or fail. Simply lubricate the rim as instructed, and your canner will seal perfectly for decades. Many customers use 40+ year old canners.

A pressure canner is larger and maintains precise pressure levels needed for safely preserving low-acid foods like meat and vegetables. According to the USDA, it must hold at least 4 quart jars to qualify as a safe canner. This Model 910 holds 4 quarts. You CAN cook in a canner, but you CAN'T safely can in most pressure cookers.

With proper care, your All American canner should last multiple generations. We regularly hear from customers using canners from the 1940s, 50s, and 60s that still work perfectly. The cast aluminum construction doesn't wear out, and since there's no gasket, the seal never fails. This is truly a lifetime investment.

Yes, you can safely can fresh fish in the Model 910. However, this canner is NOT recommended for canning smoked fish. The 10 quart size does not allow for adequate heating and cooling times required for safely processing smoked fish products.
